The Geordie Race
To the First three local Lads and Lasses, cash prizes: £600, £450 and £300 respectively.

The Geordie Race is designed to encourage local athletics and will only be awarded to 1st claim members of clubs listed in the NE section of the NECAA handbook. If you are eligible for the Geordie Race category you are still included in the Open Race and can win prizes from both. A full list of clubs is located in the T&Cs.

To the first ten Lads and Lasses home:
Cash prizes: £600, £450, £300, £200, £150, £100, £80, £70, £60, £60.

To the first three Gadgie’s in the age groups 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, ≥74:
Vouchers to the value of £50, £30, £20.

To the first three Dame’s in the age groups 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, ≥74:
Vouchers to the value of £50, £30, £20.

To first Gadgie and first Dame overall: £50 added.

To the first three Young Lads and first three Young Lasses (16-18):

Me and Wor Partner Prize

The lowest combined time of two individuals that are married, or in a civil partnership.

You will need to provide either a valid Marriage Certificate or Civil Partnership Certificate, if you win!

Gadgies and Dames do not 'forward count' into senior team prizes.

Teams consist of 4 athletes.

Team placings are determined by combined time.
