Blaydon Harrier and Athletics Club is buzzing to announce the return of the Junior Blaydon Race , proudly sponsored by Project Groundwater Northumbria !  The event will take place on Tuesday 9th June 2026 , ahead of the main Blaydon Race. 🌿  Location:  Shibdon Road Nature Reserve, Blaydon 🌿 Surface:  Multi-terrain! Race Categories: 🔹 1 Mile  – Ages 8–11 (17:30 start) 🔹 5K  – Ages 12–15 (17:50 start) Each junior racer will receive: 🏅 Unique Junior Blaydon Race 2026 finish

The ballot for the 2026 Start Fitness Blaydon Race is now officially open! Head over to our Registration page to enter. The ballot closes on February 11th @ 10:00. We wish you the best of luck and can’t wait to see you on the start line on 9th Joon for the 44th edition of The Blaydon Race!
